Resolution is an effective multi-stage tool for use by organisations wishing to implement effective programs to assist in the management of disputes, at every stage of the dispute-lifecycle. Such plans need to take into account the specific sources, nature and extent to which disputes affect the organisation as well as to undertake an assessment of the current strengths and weaknesses of the organisation in relation to the management of disputes. The Resolution tool analyses and addresses such matters and assists in the preparation of effective and efficient Dispute Management Plans, while also providing the necessary training to implement the plan and review its effectiveness over time.

There are five stages to Resolution:

  1. Dispute source auditing
  2. Dispute assessment and classification
  3. Protocol assessment and legal compliance audit
  4. Planning, monitoring and reporting
  5. Implementation, awareness and review.
